VILCABAMBA TOUR 7 DAYS / 6 NIGHTS

ITRINERARIO:

DAY 1:

08:00 P.M. Pickup Hotel to escape by bus to Huancacalle where we arrive at approximately 5:00 or 6:00. In Huancacalle we will have lunch and may take some rest there for about 3 hours.
10:00 a.m. will visit the archaeological sites of Rosaspata Ñusta and Hispanic. These sites are places of refuge for Manco Inca, fleeing the Spaniards. Here were the latest battles. Today the National Institute of Culture is restoring.
Lunch 13:00 (Huancacalle)
14:00 We toward New Vilcabamba, (3 hours walking) where we visit the Temple Colonial and the strength of religion and Franciscan Yupaccrumi (stone with traces of different animals). Stand all night in this place which is situated 3250 meters above sea level.

DAY 2:

07:00 A.M. After breakfast we will hike to Ututo in about 8 hours (2800 meters above sea level). From here you will be introduced into the jungle with its magnificent landscapes and the enormous diversity of flora and fauna. We will stay at night on the banks of the river Ututo.

DAY 3:

07:00 A.M. Breakfast. Ututo hike of Vista Alegre, which will take us 8 hours of walking. Cross bridges and even see some Inca Trail, some small archaeological sites that are hidden between vegetation and which have not yet been registered by the INC. In Vista Alegre sleep (1550 meters above sea level).

DAY 4:

07:00 A.M. Breakfast. This day we will hike from Vista Alegre to Concevidayoc (8 hours walk). We roads and Incas have a chance to see the bird Tunki that belongs to the family of "cock of the rock." In

addition, we will see the flower "Raymondi" that can only be seen in this place. This flower is approximately 3 meters and is the world's largest flower. In Concevidayoc we will be left to sleep (1420 meters above sea level.).

DAY 5:

06:00 A.M: Breakfast. From Concevidayoc we will hike to 3 hours EspirituPampa. Here we can admire the remains of the archaeological site EspirituPampa which is one of the landmarks along the way. Therefore, we will take the whole day to visit these ruins. In EspirituPampa we will have our camp (1200 meters above sea level). This place is still covered by vegetation, only a small part is cleaned by the Congregation of Salesianos with the help of the peoples of the region.

DAY 6:

07:00 A.M. : After breakfast we will walk towards EspirituPampa Chiwanguire we take about 5 hours. Enjoy many different landscapes and a great diversity of flora and fauna in this tropical place that is located 800 meters above sea level. Lunch will be in Chiguanguire. Then we will go by car to the seven Tinajas (6 hours). In this place we will stay to sleep.

DAY 7:

07:00 A.M. Breakfast. This last day we visited the huge Tinajas 7; which are natural formations of water. After lunch we go to Quillabamba (30 minutes by car) and finally return to Cusco (6 hours by car).
