Previously this place was where snow-capped mountains entered a process of
defrosting going to form small ponds, in a few years these gaps overflowed and
there was slippage of the mountain that supported the gaps forming a kind of
rocky beach where the inhabitants of the area accommodations to live by some
small stone fences across the rocky beach and call Chancho Chancho (fences) we
can observe three lagoons in the mountains where the slide began.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Cusco
- Huara - Cancha Cancha
Bus will depart from Cuzco, following the route of the Sacred Valley to the
district of Huara (2850 meters) from where instead start the journey, we can
appreciate several crops and fruit trees and have a snack in Somacpampa that
until this place is a two-hour hike. We continue with the tour in promotion made
the people of Cancha Stadium (3900 meters) which is a walk of two hours of
observation with various species of flora, and beautiful waterfalls, and in that
place we will do our first camp.
Day 2:
Cancha Stadium - Queñococha
Early start due to Queñococha watching the two beautiful lagoons of the people
of Acopata, and then go to the highest part of which is the Open Pachaqutec
which is about 4600 meters above sea level with a rise of two hours and then
descend to open and view of Candarian lagoon Candarian, dropping more Qollalay
place we go to our rest. Continuing toward Queñococha pass by the people of
Quishuarani a small town dedicated to agriculture, following the walk is that of
promotion to get QueñoCocha (4100 meters), instead of our second camp.
Day 3:
Queñococha - Lares
Proceeding from this lacuna in the direction we will head towards the thermal
baths of Lares, climbing for the last Open which is the Culcani

hence can see the two most beautiful lagoons in this journey
that there are gaps that Wiki Cocha and Blue and Cocha
compared to the Nevado Qolquechacana and waterfall Awayman
to descend to the people of Cuncani that this is more
possible water trout fishing, and after a four-hour trek
finally did arrive the thermal baths of Lares to take our
snack and give us some comfort in their hot water bath and
then back towards the city of Cusco that are 4-hour trip.
