Itinerary:
DAY 1:
Departure: 13:00 P.M. Cuzco - TINKI (5 hours by car) camp in TINKI.
DAY 2:
07:00 A.M. Hike of TINKI to Upis in about 6 hours. During this trip will visit
the community Upis. Upis is 4400 meters above sea level and few families living
there. This day walk very close to the snowy Ausangate. At the end of the day
camp.
DAY 3:
07:00 A.M. We started our day with breakfast in Upis. Then we will go to this
arap about 7 hours away. We will get to pass arap where we can enjoy a lovely
view of a beautiful mountain lakes and surrounded by rock formations. This place
is situated at 4850 metres above sea level.
DAY 4:
07:00 A.M. Hike the mountain pass of Ausangate arap to step it will take
approximately 8 hours of walking. During this part of the road we will see the
lake Yanaccocha and other impressive high mountains. This step has an elevation
4750 meters above sea level.
DAY 5.
Today walk of Ausangate to Huchuy Finaya which is about 7 hours of walking. At
this stage of the journey will have a view on magic mountain too high Ausangate,
Santa Catalina, Parco Street and Mary Huamantilla. All these mountains are at
6372 meters above sea level and have snow formations that resemble caves.
